Garlic Dill Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

3–4 cloves garlic, minced or finely grated

2–3 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional)

1 teaspoon lemon juice or zest (optional, for brightness)

Instructions:

1. Soften the butter: Let the butter sit at room temperature until soft but not melted.

2. Combine ingredients: In a bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, pepper, and lemon juice or zest if using.

3. Blend well: Use a fork or a mixer to combine everything until smooth and evenly mixed.

4. Shape or store:

Scoop onto plastic wrap, roll into a log, and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.

Or just store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 1 week (or freeze up to 3 months).

Ways to Use Garlic Dill Butter:

Slather on warm baguette or toast

Melt over grilled salmon, shrimp, or chicken

Stir into mashed or roasted potatoes

Toss with steamed or roasted vegetables

Finish off corn on the cob
