Prepare the Burger Patties:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 burger patties.

Cook the Patties:
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until your desired level of doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Parmesan cheese on each patty to melt.

Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Toast the Buns:
Toast the hamburger buns in a skillet or on the grill until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger:
Spread the garlic Parmesan sauce over the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the burger patty on top, then add lettuce, tomato, and pickles if desired. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately with your favorite side dish, and enjoy the garlic Parmesan goodness!
