For the Dough
โ€“ 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
โ€“ 1 tsp sugar
โ€“ 1 tsp salt
โ€“ 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
โ€“ 1 cup warm water
โ€“ 2 tbsp oil

For the Toppings:
โ€“ 1/2 cup pizza sauce
โ€“ 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
โ€“ Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, sausage, etc.)

โ€“ In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
โ€“ Add the flour, salt, and oil. Mix until a dough forms.
โ€“ Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
โ€“ Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).

Preheat your oven to 475ยฐF (245ยฐC). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.

โ€“ Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
โ€“ Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel.

4. *Add Toppings:*
โ€“ Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
โ€“ Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
โ€“ Add your favorite toppings.

-Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
