2 lbs chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, or wings)
2 lemons, one juiced and one sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish) (optional)

1. Marinate the chicken:
In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, honey (or sugar), salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken pieces and mix well, ensuring they are coated evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 6 hours in the refrigerator.

2. Preheat oven:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

3. Arrange chicken:
Place the sliced lemons at the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces over the lemon slices.

4. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear. Baste the chicken with the marinade halfway through cooking.

5. Garnish and serve:
Remove from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds(if using). Serve hot with rice or roasted vegetables.

The lemon slices prevent the chicken from sticking and infuse it with flavor during cooking. Marinating the chicken enhances its flavor and keeps it moist.
