Lemon Garlic Butter Lamb Chops

Ingredients:

– 4 lamb chops
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 4 garlic cloves, minced
– Zest and juice of 1 lemon
– 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:

1. Begin by generously seasoning both sides of the lamb chops with salt and pepper.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it’s shimmering.
3. Carefully place the lamb chops into the skillet and cook them for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
4. Once the chops are cooked to your liking, remove them from the skillet and transfer them to a plate to rest.
5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat and add the unsalted butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant and golden.
6. Stir in the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped rosemary. Allow the mixture to simmer for 1-2 minutes to meld the flavors.
7. Return the lamb chops to the skillet and spoon the garlic lemon butter over the top, heating them for an additional minute to warm through.
8. Plate the lamb chops on a serving platter, drizzle the garlic butter sauce generously over them, and garnish with fresh lemon slices.
