Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

For the Steak:
1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
For the Vegetables:
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
For the Sandwich:
4 hoagie rolls
8 slices provolone cheese
2 tbsp butter, softened

Step 1: Prepare the Steak
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Add the thinly sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned.
Add butter and stir for extra flavor. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until softened (about 4-5 minutes).
Mix the cooked steak back into the skillet and combine everything well.
Step 3: Assemble the Sandwiches
Butter the hoagie rolls and toast them in a pan until golden brown.
Place a portion of the steak and veggie mixture onto each hoagie roll.
Top with provolone cheese slices and cover with a lid until the cheese melts (1-2 minutes).
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!
Serve immediately while warm and cheesy. Pair with fries or a side salad.
