Reese’s Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake

Ready for a dessert that’s literally ground-breaking? This “Earthquake” cake creates its own delicious cracks and craters filled with molten peanut butter and chocolate. It’s a decadent, gooey masterpiece that turns a simple box mix into a legendary treat your family will beg for!

The Ingredients
1 box Chocolate cake mix (+ required ingredients)
1/2 cup Melted butter
8 oz Softened cream cheese
1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
4 cups Powdered sugar
1/2 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup Mini Reese’s Cups, halved
The Shake-Up Steps

Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13″ glass baking dish.
Base: Prepare the chocolate cake batter as directed and pour it into the dish.
The Filling: Beat cream cheese and melted butter until smooth. Add peanut butter and vanilla, then slowly whip in the powdered sugar until fluffy.
The “Quake”: Spoon large dollops of the peanut butter mixture over the raw batter—do not swirl!
Toppings: Scatter those chocolate chips and Reese’s halves across the top.
Bake: Heat for 45–55 minutes until the center is set. Serve it warm and gooey!
The Result: As it bakes, the heavy filling sinks into the cake, creating a “shattered” look with pockets of pure bliss.
Enjoy every decadent bite! ❤️
