* 1 lb ground beef
* 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
* 1 egg
* 1 onion, finely chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 cups beef broth
* 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
* 1/4 cup milk
* 2 tbsp butter
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 1 cup corn kernels

1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, half of the chopped onion, half of the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Shape into oval patties.
2. Brown the patties in a skillet. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, sauté the remaining onion and garlic. Pour in beef broth and add the patties back. Simmer until cooked through.
4. Boil potatoes until soft. Mash with milk, butter, remaining garlic, salt, and pepper.
5. Boil corn until tender.
6. Serve the Salisbury steak with gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, and corn on the side.
