Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Gravy:
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups beef broth
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
2. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onions until soft. Sprinkle flour, stir, then add broth and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Simmer until thickened, then return patties to the pan and cook for another 10 minutes.
5. Serve hot with mashed potatoes and corn.
