Instructions:
Cooking the Steak:
1️⃣ Season the Steak: Rub steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak: Heat a skillet over high heat. Sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
3️⃣ Butter Baste: Add butter to the pan, baste the steak for 1 minute, then rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Cooking the Scallops:
4️⃣ Prepare the Scallops: Pat scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
5️⃣ Sear the Scallops: Heat olive oil in the same skillet. Sear scallops for 2 minutes per side until golden.
6️⃣ Butter Finish: Add butter, toss scallops for 30 seconds, then remove from heat.
