1. Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. While the oil is heating, season the beef steaks generously with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is shimmering, carefully place the steaks in the skillet. Sear them for about 3-4 minutes on each side for a medium-rare finish, or cook to your desired level of doneness. When done, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
2. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, sprinkle the shrimp with 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning and add them to the skillet. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Once cooked, remove the shrimp and set them aside on a plate.
3. With the skillet still on the heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter. When the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Next, stir in an additional teaspoon of Cajun seasoning, the heavy cream, the broth, and the grated Parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly.
4. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Stir gently to coat the shrimp, warming them through for about a minute.
5. To serve, place each steak on a plate and generously top with the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce. Fin
