Ingredients:
4 filet mignon steaks (about 6 oz each)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
1 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare; remove and let rest.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté shrimp until pink and cooked through; remove and set aside.
Add garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and thyme.
Add the chopped lobster meat and simmer the sauce until it thickens slightly.
Return the shrimp to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the sauce.
Spoon the creamy shrimp and lobster sauce over the rested steaks.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes:
Serve with a side of mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
