Ingredients:
1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
1 box vanilla wafer cookies
4 ripe bananas, sliced
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract; whisk to combine.
In a separate bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, begin layering: start with a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of sliced bananas, then strawberries, and a layer of the pudding mixture.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
Garnish with extra fruit and a sprig of mint if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors meld and the dessert set.
