* Ingredients*
● 2 racks of pork ribs
● 2 tablespoons olive oil
● 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
● 1 tablespoon garlic powder
● 1 tablespoon onion powder
● 1 tablespoon brown sugar
● 1 teaspoon salt
● 1 teaspoon black pepper
● 1 cup barbecue sauce
* Instructions*
Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.
In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down.
Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender.
Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil.
Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.
