2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional for extra flavor)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder (if using).

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed in the flour mixture.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix, as this can result in dense bread.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cheese bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

For extra flavor, sprinkle the top with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
