4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)

Instructions:
Prepare the Fried Onions:
Soak the onion slices in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium heat.
Dredge the soaked onions in the flour mixture and fry until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Make the Beef Cheesesteak:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the sliced onions and cook until softened and caramelized, about 6-7 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toast the hoagie rolls in butter until golden.
Pile the beef and onions into the rolls and top with provolone cheese (or drizzle with Cheez Whiz).
Prepare the Crab Fries:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Toss the cut fries in olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, and salt.
Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy.
