Ingredients:
½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), softened
1 head roasted garlic
2–3 slices bacon, cooked crispy and finely chopped
1 tsp fresh herbs (like thyme, rosemary, or parsley – optional)
½ tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Roast the Garlic
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut the top off the garlic head to expose the tops of the cloves.
Drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until soft and golden.
Let cool, then squeeze out the roasted cloves and mash into a paste.
2. Cook the Bacon
Fry 2–3 slices of bacon until crispy.
Let them cool, then crumble or finely chop.
3. Mix the Butter
In a bowl, combine:
softened butter
roasted garlic paste
chopped bacon
herbs (if using)
lemon juice (if using)
salt and pepper to taste
Mix well until fully blended.
4. Serve or Store
Serve immediately, or transfer to a small ramekin or roll into a log with parchment paper.
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up, if desired.
