#### *For the Scallops:*
– 1 lb (450g) large sea scallops, patted dry
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 2 tbsp unsalted butter
– Salt and black pepper, to taste
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 1 tbsp lemon juice

#### *For the Noodles:*
– 8 oz (225g) noodles (linguine, spaghetti, or rice noodles)
– 2 tbsp unsalted butter
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– ¼ cup (60ml) chicken or seafood broth
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for extra depth)
– ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
– 2 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
– 1 tsp sesame oil (optional, for a hint of nuttiness)

#### *Cook the Noodles:*
1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

#### *Sear the Scallops:*
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Season scallops with salt and pepper. Place them in the pan, making sure not to overcrowd.
4. Sear for 1.5–2 minutes per side until a golden crust forms.
5. Reduce heat, add butter and minced garlic, then drizzle lemon juice over the scallops. Spoon the butter sauce over them for another 30 seconds. Remove from heat and set aside.
