Shrimp & Crab Pasta with Creamy Cajun Sauce




– 200g spaghetti or linguine

– 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 150g crab meat, fresh or canned

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

– 1 onion, finely chopped

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 bell pepper, diced

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

– Parmesan cheese, grated, for serving


  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and sauté for another minute.
  4. Stir in the shrimp and crab meat, cooking until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the seafood and add heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta with the creamy seafood sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
