Succulent Beef Steak with Rich and Creamy Garlic Mushrooms

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

2 ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Season steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and cook until a golden crust forms, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Remove steaks and set aside. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
Add mushrooms and herbs, sautéing until mushrooms are golden and tender.
Return steaks to the skillet, spooning mushrooms and butter over them. Serve hot.
