Ingredients:
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 2 lobster tails
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
- Prepare the Steaks:
o Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
o Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- Prepare the Lobster:
o Preheat your oven to broil. Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise and pull the meat out, laying it on top of the shells.
o Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and brush it over the lobster meat. Season with salt, pepper, and half of the minced garlic.
o Broil the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Make the Garlic Herb Butter:
o In a small saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the remaining minced garlic, chopped thyme, and rosemary. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine and Serve:
o Arrange the steaks and lobster tails on a serving platter. Drizzle the garlic herb butter over the steaks and lobster.
o Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
