Spice up your lunch with this Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese! It’s creamy, cheesy, and has just the right kick! ️
Ingredients:
– 8 slices of bread
– 4 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
– 2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
– 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
– 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
- Spread cream cheese on one side of each bread slice.
- Place jalapeño slices on top of the cream cheese on four slices of bread.
- Mix together the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, then sprinkle evenly over the jalapeños.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, cream cheese side down.
- Mix the garlic powder into the softened butter and spread it on the outside of each sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
